What's new – April 3, 2026

Here's what shipped since April 2. This release focuses on making document filtering faster, cleaner, and easier to share.

🧭 Linear-style filter flow — The documents page now uses a cleaner filter workflow with a compact filter trigger and editable chips for active filters.
🏷️ Multi-category filters — You can now apply multiple category filters at once (for example: "Category is Financial" and "Category is General").
🔁 URL-synced filter state — Type, visibility, uploaded range, and category filters remain in the URL so links are shareable and state survives refreshes.
💾 Saved filter presets — Save your current filter set with a custom name and quickly switch between presets from the header.

➕ Create categories inline — When assigning categories, you can create a new category directly from the picker if it does not exist.
🧼 Category name formatting — New category names are trimmed and normalized before saving for cleaner, consistent naming.

🎨 Updated active filter bar — Active filters are grouped in a flatter, cleaner container with refined spacing and styling.
